The Fall [Official Music Video] (2023)
This is a music video I wrote and directed for Zane Avos, a musician based in the PNW. I did a lot of work on this video. I did a lot of preproduction work. I made storyboards and blocking diagrams and a screenplay. I also did the choreography for the fight scene which was VERY fun. I had a lot of fun making this video, but even with all the work I did, I couldn’t have done it alone. Thanks, crew!!
With Love and Groove, Retro (2023)
Carlos is a remarkable individual and friend of mine who has turned his past demons and traumas into a source of strength and healing through dance. With every step, he channels his emotions, releasing the pain that once burdened him. Through his powerful movements, he helps others find solace and liberation, transforming their personal struggles into art. Carlos’s resilience and courage inspire others within the dance community to confront their own challenges and find healing through self-expression. His infectious positivity and genuine support uplift those around him, fostering a welcoming environment where dancers can grow and flourish.
Footage was taken at his first Artistic Release Therapy Event at the University of Oregon, and on Skinner’s Butte, one of his favorite places to groove.
I directed, shot and produced this entire video for a final project for my Video Production class. It took about a month to make from start to finish.
Morena’s Hot Pot – Drag Show (2023)
I did the videography and editing for this video. This was a drag show put together by Spectrum Queer Bar in Eugene Oregon, hosted by Eugene’s very own Filipino Queen, Morena. What a bunch of amazing performers, and what a fun show!
Amiia Nectar – “Normal Girl” (2023)
This is a video I filmed and edited for the lovely Amiia Nectar at the Juneteeth Event in Eugene, Oregon. This is her cover of “Normal Girl” by SZA.
Duck Jam Finals (2023)
I did the videography and editing for this video. This is the University of Oregon’s Hip-Hop Duck Jam.
How to Patch a Tire (2023)
This was a short video I helped produce with a group of about four people. We did a multi cam shoot with three point lighting. I did the editing, some camera work, the audio and the music.
Abby’s Pizza Commercial (2021)
I did the editing for this commercial, including color grading. Music, dialogue and footage was provided for me.
Black Magic Pocket Cinema 4k – Cinematography Practice (2023)
I wanted to practice some different camera shots on the Black Magic Pocket Cinema 4k Video Camera. I used a fluid head tripod and waited for a nice day, and did some practice.
The Fly (2022)
This is a final project I did for one of my media classes. My roommate wrote the short story, and I adapted it into a short film starring him.
The Road to Vancouver (2022)
I wrote, shot, edited and directed this fictional short film starring my friend Jacob LeClaire. It follows a young man and his dog as he travels across the border in search of other survivors after an apocalyptic event. I did the entire musical score using Pro Tools, Audition, and Garage Band. This project took me about three weeks to produce from start to finish.
5 Years (2022)
This was a project I did in one of my classes. The prompt was “Five” and we were supposed to put together a video about anything with that theme. I decided to focus on the climate disasters we have experienced within the last 5 years alone. Its purpose is to remind us how fast we are destroying our only planet. I worked on research and editing for this project.
Topa Topa Promo (2022)
This was a project I did in one of my first video production classes. I was given the footage, and edited it together into a promo for Topa Topa Brewing.
Peter Pan Mermaid Scene – ADR – Voice Over (2023)
I decided to redo the audio for this scene in the original Disney’s Peter Pan. I did all the voices for all the characters, and I rewrote some dialogue because it needed it.
Female Hysteria (2021)
This is a short informational video about Female Hysteria. I did the editing, voiceover, and motion graphics for this video. I didn’t write the script, and I didn’t do the camera work.
Carlos “Retro” Juneteenth Dance (2023)
I did the videography and editing for this video of Carlos performing a beautiful dance at the Eugene Oregon Juneteenth Event at Alton Baker Park.
